Rabbi Adir Posy is a Musmach of the Wexner Smicha Honors program at Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology & Sociology and a Masters Degree in Public Administration, and spent several years learning in Israel at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh. Rabbi Posy has served in many rabbinic and educational positions around the U.S. and around the world.
As Associate Rabbi, Rabbi Posy serves Beth Jacob in a variety of pastoral and educational roles, supporting Rabbi Topp and the Beth Jacob leadership in our mission to provide world class spiritual, social and Torah programming for our community.
Along with his work at Beth Jacob, Rabbi Posy serves as the National Director of the Orthodox Union’s Department of Synagogue initiatives and the Director of the OU’s west coast office. Rabbi Posy also serves as a consultant for the building of community eruvin and has received special training in the areas of medical halacha in the areas of fertilty and family health.
Rabbi Posy is married to Hindi, a native Angelino who is a practicing High Risk Obstetrician on faculty at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. They are blessed with 9 sons, who are all proud participants in Beth Jacob programming.
