Teen Minyan - Schoenfeld Beit Midrash - 9:30 am
|
Starting at 9:30 am, the starting time is perfect for teens. A minyan that boasts quick, efficient prayer with NO talking, teens find it an ideal place to daven with thier friends. The community of teens host minyan every Shabbat & Yom Tov, excluding Simchat Torah. Featured in local newspapers, its High Holiday minyan is an attractive place for teens to not only pray, but understand the additional tefilot of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. After davening teens enjoy a 12 minute shiur by Rabbi Pilichowski on Torah in the news. It doesn't hurt that the minyan features TWO kiddushes; an early dairy kiddush before kriat Hatorah for those that arrive on time, and a PKD MEAT kiddush following davening.
